Did you miss out on your chance to enter the most high-pressure but fun home cooking competition on TV? Finally found your cooking mojo and want to share it with the world? Have we got great news for you!
My Kitchen Rules South Africa (MKRSA) will be back for a fourth season, and M-Net is looking for the most talented home-cooking pairs to bring the heat!
Judged by the brilliant pair of Chef David Higgs and award-winning artist, cook, guitarist, and vocalist J’Something, MKRSA is a show for anyone who knows their way around a pot. Loved by viewers across South Africa, season 4 will premiere in September 2022.
“My Kitchen Rules South Africa gets better with each season because the calibre of home cooks also gets better and better. This past season we saw that the pandemic and lockdowns really resulted in many people killing it in the kitchen, and we know that we can expect the same – or possibly even better – this time around,” says MKRSA’s J’Something.
How does it work? The fantastic amateur cooking pairs who make the cut start off in an Instant Restaurant round, where they host their competitors and our two celebrity judges with a themed three-course dinner.
Those who don’t get chopped move on to the Challenge Round where they go up against each other in various cooking challenges. Talk about turning the heat all the way up!
At the end of it all: the latest winners of the MKRSA crown will emerge R1 million richer! Could it be you?
Click here to fill out the online application form and send us a video of you and your teammate putting your best dish forward. Entries close on Sunday 15 May 2022.
Remember: the best MKRSA teams have a pre-existing and strong relationship – whether you’re mates, partners, or family. Both teammates must be 18 years or older on 30 April 2022.
If you and your kitchen partner are ready to show off your culinary skills and follow in the footsteps of season 3 winners Izak and Wessel, My Kitchen Rules South Africa season four awaits! #MKRSA
