Who will continue their musical journey on The Voice SA?

The coaches have their final say with Grammy winner Ben Harper live on stage

The Voice SA live stage is set for a rollercoaster ride of emotions this week Sunday. The voting results will be revealed for the unsaved talent in the teams of coaches Riana Nel and Francois van Coke, more talent will sing for their lives and unfortunately some of the unique singers will have to say their sad goodbyes.

This is also the last week that the four coaches – Riky Rick, LIRA, Riana and Francois – will be able to keep someone in the competition. Next week their saves will fall away when all the say is handed over to the voting public.

In #TeamFrancois viewers could vote for flamboyant Anslin Gysman, gritty singing sensation Chezelle Shahadat and PE's Daniel Jay, after the rocker coach saved 18-year-old Tashé Burger.  And, in #TeamRiana, where “African queen” Siki Jo-An, won her coach’s favour, the voting race included Francois Viljoen, Elisha James, Lelo Ramasimong and Soné Joubert. Once the voting results are made public knowledge by The Voice SA host Anele Mdoda, coaches Francois and Riana will be able to save one more talent from their teams. For the others, though, it will be the end of their musical journey onThe Voice SA.

But, the nerves, excitement, drama and tears are not reserved for #TeamRiana and #TeamFrancois only. The remaining members of #TeamLIRA and #TeamRiky will all have to bring their pitch-perfect A-game to stay in the show. LIRA and Riky will save one talent each, while the others will be up for the viewers’ vote.

Yahto Kraft, the PJ Twins and Sbu Dludlo are the exceptional singers who have to impress their coach and the voters in #TeamLIRA, while Amy Tjasink, Eon le Roux and Ross Charles will sing it out in #TeamRiky. With so much talent in store, there can only be tough decisions!

To add to this week’s excitement East Coast Radio is taking over the show’s Red Room and three-time Grammy winner Ben Harper will be joining The Voice SA talent on stage. Known for his eclectic mix of blues, soul, folk, reggae and rock as well as his  electrifying live guitar performances, this international music master, will perform one of his biggest hits.
