After being on air for a whopping 11 years, Modern Family comes to a close. Many of the cast members, whom have grown to become everyone's family too, have opened new chapters in their lives, or they have decided to take a break to figure out what they'd like to do next.

Sofia Vergara, who played the effervescent Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family, hasn't said goodbye to the small screen. She's moved on to another TV show, as a judge on the fifteenth season of America's Got Talent.

Ariel Winter, who played Alex Dunphy, grew up in front of the Modern Family camera and has spent half her young life in front of it. Speaking to lifestyle website, Teen Vogue, Winter says the end of the show is new territory for her. "I was doing something very specific for so long. Now I have to reset my mind and retrain myself,” she says. “I am ready to do everything I can. I am ready to be in the right mindset to go in there again and be able to face the rejection that will come, and be able to move past that and go to the next audition and be ready for it. And be ready for things in my personal life. Just living.”

Julie Bowen, who played Claire Dunphy, is reportedly headlining a CBS pilot called Raised by Wolves.

According to entertainment news magazine, Variety, Bowen takes on the role of Frankie Wolfe who is described as an extremely successful powerhouse. But when she decides to adopt a pre-teen, her life is forever changed.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who played Mitch Pritchett is becoming a first time dad later this year. When speaking to James Corden on the Late Late Show, Ferguson said: "I'm actually expecting a baby in July with my husband. I'm very excited. I'm 44 now. I'm, like, let's get this show going. I mean, it's already, tick tock."

Rico Rodriguez, who played Manny, said on The Real he is interested in going behind the camera with the production company he started with his sister. "A couple of years ago, my sister and I, we started our own production company," he said. "We’re hoping write our own stuff and produce and direct."
