Sunday’s show included an insert of Debbie Turner’s Cape Dance Company, and their fusion piece to celebrate the Dance Umbrella’s 30th anniversary. The work, called ‘Elements’, was choreographed by Jayesperi Moopen and done in conjunction with Tribhangi Dance Theatre.

Cape Dance Company is one of South Africa’s most highly sought-after dance companies. Blending neoclassical and contemporary dance styles with a hybrid flavour of African fusion, CDC is led by founding Artistic Director Debbie and has been in high demand since its inception in 1995.

CDC presents approximately 40 performances per year across South Africa and has toured internationally to Europe, the USA and Asia.

Bryan Watson meanwhile has plenty to brag about – he is, after all, a nine time Professional World Latin Dance Champion! But he’s very quiet on social media.

What we have gathered though is that while back in Mzansi, Bryan has been helping out at Tebogo Kgobokoe’s Arts Academy!

Fondly known as 'SA’s Queen of Dance', Tebogo is a 10-time winner of the South African Professional Latin and Ballroom Championship and seven-time winner of the South African Professional Latin American Championship. With a passion for development and teaching, Tebogo launched the Tebogo Kgobokoe Arts Academy in 2016 to foster local dance talent.

Outside of her work at TKAA, she can now also be seen in the pages of Drum magazine!

Jason Gilkison should need no introduction: he’s a renowned reality show judge, choreographer to A-list stars, creative director of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing  and BAFTA nominee! He’s been living it up lekker in South Africa since his arrival, enjoying the pool, cocktails and the sensual Jozi sunsets – check his Instagram feed for FOMO!

Most recently he popped into the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Henley on Klip to impart some inspiration and knowledge.
