Ben Stiller takes another trip to the American Museum of Natural History in the third instalment of his action-adventure franchise. Watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb this Sunday, 11 October, on M-Net at 20:05 and M-Net Movies Premiere at 20:30.

The previous two movies have been a merry parade through time, introducing historical figures such as Attila the Hun, Christopher Columbus, Amelia Earhart and Al Capone.

Portraying these historical figures – who are museum exhibits that come to life in the movies – is an array of top comedic talent.  Throughout the franchise we’ve seen Robin Williams, Steve Coogan and Hank Azaria play Theodore Roosevelt; Roman soldier, Octavius; and the voice of Abraham Lincoln, respectively. The latter also plays the main – albeit fictional – antagonist in the first sequel.

Joining these comic geniuses are others renowned in the field of laughs such as Ricky Gervais, Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill and frequent Stiller co-star, Owen Wilson. Cast as Stiller’s fellow security guards is a Hollywood trio of legends: Dick Van Dyke, Bill Cobbs and Mickey Rooney.

In Secret of the Tomb, fans of the franchise can expect to see familiar faces from the past. Many actors return to reprise their roles for the final movie; most memorably: Robin Williams in one of his last films.

New faces you can look out for are Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as Sir Lancelot, Australian comedian Rebel Wilson as a security guard; and esteemed English actor Sir Ben Kingsley, as a pharaoh. There are also cameos from Hugh Jackman  and Alice Eve – playing  themselves – to look out for.

With all these famous names and faces – whether historical, current or fictitious -  you won’t want to miss Ben Stiller’s final museum outing in your #SundayNightMovie Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb on 11 October at 20:05 on M-Net and 20:30 on M-Net Movies Premiere.
