The latest episode of MasterChef South Africa took us back to our childhoods as we revelled in the colourful sight of all those sweets and sang along to the Simba Chips jingle.

Tasked with creating a sweet or savoury dish inspired by the judges' favourite childhood snacks, the eight contestants from the red team had a tough cook ahead of them, leaving fans interested, intrigued, and excited. ALL the emotions.
