Superheroes: Malibongwe the Marvellous

The second superhero you'll get to meet as part of the M-Net Movies Superheroes festival in partnership with the Reach For A Dream Foundation is Malibongwe.

The second superhero you'll get to meet as part of the M-Net Movies Superheroes festival in partnership with the Reach For A Dream Foundation is Malibongwe. Four-year-old Malibongwe has been diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma, a form of cancer which starts in immune cells known as B-cells; and is considered the fastest-growing human tumour.

Malibongwe has a passion for life which revolves around soccer. He also loves his toy motorbike, and when he's not dreaming about his favouite sport, he's racing around outside. As an avid fan of Kaizer Chiefs it was no surprise to learn what this brave young boy’s dream was. With the help of Reach For A Dream, and the loving support of his parents, Malibongwe's dream came true.
