Afghanistan is a heterogeneous nation of several major ethnic groups, including Pashtuns, Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks. The capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia.

Did you know? Pashto is one of the two official languages of Afghanistan. It has multiple dialects, the main being the Western dialect, also known as Kandahari, and the Eastern dialect, known as Nangrahari-Peshawari or Mashriqi. About 40 million people speak Pashto as a native language.
