Bill Pullman is an accomplished and versatile actorย known for acing the roles he takes on. This month you get to watchย him in The Sinnerย season 3 on M-Net City. In honour of the star,ย we're taking a look at some of the different roles he's played in his acting career.
While You Were Sleeping.
Pullman played Jack, the brother of a man in a coma, who eventually sweeps his brother's fake fiancee (Sandra Bullock) off her feet. Pullman is loving and humorous in this role and romcom fans will admit it was beautiful to watch Lucy and Jackย fall in love. Prior to this Pullman also took onย romance alongside Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in the iconicย Sleepless in Seattle.

Independence Day
In this action-packed blockbuster, Pullman played the US President alongside the man of action himself, Will Smith! Together they hadย to save the world fromย doom. Bill brought soย much heart to this character and here's theย speech that got viewersย teary-eyed in cinemas all around the world. Fun fact: Pullman did extensive research and studied many historic speeches to prepare for this scene.

Lake Placid
Horror fans got a taste of deadly crocodiles in this adrenaline-packed movie that left youย afraid to go into the lake. Bill Pullman put his Crocodile Dundee pants on for this daringย role. He played theย brave and charismatic fish and game officer Jack Wells, who risked his life in many scenes and gave us quite the hero. We must say that we totally love seeing Pullman in full action!

Spaceballs
We discoveredย the fun side of Bill Pullman in thisย zany comedy that was a parody of Star Wars and other popular sci-fi movies. Pullman played the lead character Lone Starr (based on Luke Skywalker and Hans Solo) who wittily hadย toย outwit the villains fromย the fictional and freakyย Planet Spaceball. Bill does comedy very well and took us all on one heck of a spaceship ride!

Igby Goes Down
Brothers Kieran and Rory Culkin played the troubled sonsย of Pullman's character in this beautiful coming-of-age comedy-drama. Pullman took on the role of theย schizophrenic dad andย brought such realism to the character, once again proving his versatility in taking on vast roles.
