Here is a movie that joins the ranks of The Godfather Part II, Before Sunset, Aliens, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and The Dark Knight as one of the best sequels ever made.
As we know only too well these days, in an era saturated with sequels, the second instalment in a franchise is hardly ever as good as, or better, than its predecessor.
When the second instalment of Star Wars was released, fans were far from disappointed; and The Empire Strikes Back yet again set the benchmark for all sequels.
