Lira is performing at Kirstenbosch on Sunday and will try make it home in time to watch our special premeiere – if not, “That’s what the PVR is for!” Although celebrating with 6,000 fans in Cape Town is not a bad way to bring in the new season.

Bobby will be home with his family, eating popcorn and drinking red wine – no champagne necessary!

Kahn will also be home with his wife and son – and he’ll be having the same snacks as Bobby! “I think popcorn and beer will be the spread this time ‘round,” he says. “I'll keep the champagne chilled for when #TeamKahn takes season 2 on the final night ;-)”.

We struggled to get hold of Karen, but from the looks of her social media pages it’s because she’s very busy in studio! We’re sure she’ll take some time out to watch from her Cape Town base.

Host Stacey Norman is also in Cape Town, and she’ll be watching with her family – probably with the wine and cheese she’s scored from one of the Cape’s finest wineries that she’ll be visiting that day.

Last but not least, Lungile Radu will be watching at home with his Fam. “My son is my biggest fan and critic,” he told us. “Always fun times when daddy is at the ‘office’ (TV screen).” As for the food spread: “It's a Sunday, so you know it's that soul food, seven colours kind of dining. I think I might just throw it down this time - cooking calms me down and I'm always nervous for premieres of my shows.”

The final word comes from Lungile himself: “All I can say is: we are back before you had a chance to miss us - season 2 of The Voice SA is the best yet!

We can’t wait!
