Five fast facts about Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

It’s the last M-Net Movies Night Out of the year and it’s taking us to the jungle. Before we go bushwhacking with Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, here are five fast facts about the film.

  1. The first Jumanji movie was released in 1995, and starred the late, great Robin Williams.
  2. It was based on a picture book by Chris Van Allsburg.
  3. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is set twenty years after the first movie.
  4. This is not the first time Johnson and Hart have been co-stars. They also shared the screen in Central Intelligence. You can watch the LallaLand interviews here.
  5. Joining them in the jungle are comedy stalwart and rock star Jack Black and Dr. Who star Karen Gillan.
