Gone But Not Forgotten!

01 June 2017
Having made it to the final stretch of the competition, it was truly sad to see them go.

Sunday was one of the most emotional episodes yet as we said goodbye to four of our Top 16 talent. Team Karen said goodbye to Amanda Faku and Lindo Sithole after South Africa saved PJ Pretorius. We took to social media to see what they had to say about their journey on The Voice SA and this is what they had to say:

Amanda Faku

"My journey on #TheVoiceSA has came (sic) to an end. I never thought being on the show was ever possible. I have had the privilege of having a dream come true. Thank you Karen Zoid for believing in me. I know people already know this but you have a heart of gold and I adore you.  The production team that works the hardest. I give all my respect to them, I bow down to all of you. The lovely people that have loved me since my audition. I appreciate you all, you make my days. Do stay tuned, I am so excited for the future. Top 16 was Lit❤".

Lindo Sithole

"You attract your thoughts, so be careful of what you think of. Great to see all I've achieved in the past months. Thanks to Karen Zoid, The Voice SA, Dialdirect, Truworths Fashion, Subaru. #TeamKaren more is yet to come. Welcome to the world of Lindo Summer".

Here's a heartwarming performance by Amanda and Lindo.

Team Kahn lost Freddy and Zee

"Unfortunately my journey has ended on The Voice SA, thanks to Kahn Morbee for grooming me and believing in me at times when I didn't. Thank you to those who showed support, this might just be the stepping stone I needed to pursue my music career. ❤"

Freddy Lalendle

"Just wanna say HOW thankful I am to those that Voted. I love you all so much. I'm so excited to share my music career with every single one of you. I LOVE YOU ALL".

May we also take this moment to wish Zee a very happy birthday.
