Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette SA took us on a rollercoaster-ride of emotions. Missed it? Here’s a recap below.

Gareth receiving a rose

After a cute date that had us all ravenous for pizza (minus pineapple topping), Qiniso and Gareth settled down for some intimate time on the couch. And it became pretty evident that these two have a strong connection and both want the same things. There was talk of parents and the possibility of meeting family, peppered with sweet (and garlicky) kisses in-between. At the end of the date a red rose was bestowed upon a beaming Gazza.

The Two-On-One Date

We’re still recovering from the strain of what turned out to be one of the most dramatic (and most emotional) moments of the season; Qiniso’s Two-On-One Date with Vuyani and Peter. Qiniso had to think and hard about who she was more compatible with and who she would be letting go of between the two gents. After stating their cases, and after Q had made her considerations, it was ultimately Peter who didn’t get a rose. Missed it? Watch how it happened, below.

Peter says goobye

The WILD Cocktail Party

After an emotionally taxing time, Qiniso and the gents let their hair down and had the time of their lives at this week’s Cocktail Party. And it wasn’t just Qiniso and the gents who let loose this time around. Host Jason joined in the festivities and downed a shot too, to calm his shot nerves and set the tone for the evening. While everyone was exchanging pleasantries in the lounge, Qiniso pulled off the surprise of a lifetime and pinned a rose onto a stocked Cameron’s lapel. Realising that he was safe for another week and didn’t have to stress about the night’s Rose Ceremony, Cam led the gang in a funny game of chicken, also affectionately called “Cacaaw” 😂. That’s not all that happened at the Cocktail Party. Watch this Cocktail Party roundup for more!

Taking the edge off

Aviwe’s exit

They say all good things must come to an end and this statement not only rang true for Peter, but for Aviwe as well. After some alone-time with Qiniso earlier in the evening where he tried to find out how Q felt about him using the ‘L’ word, Aviwe failed to receive a rose. Ever the gentleman, Aviwe had nothing but kind words for Qiniso and thanked her for the opportunity to walk this journey with her. Watch last night’s Rose Ceremony below.

So long, Aviwe
