If you’re a big fan of The Voice, chances are you know most of these tidbits, especially after so many seasons and endless versions of the show from around the world. So go on: check out the facts, see how many you knew, enjoy the pictures, and tune in for the next season.

The show is originally from the Netherlands. It is called The Voice of Holland, and was started by Big Brother creator, John de Mol.
There are over 60 versions, airing in all parts of the world including the Ukraine, South Korea, Mongolia and of course our local version, which debuted in 2016.
The chairs on the U.S. version were redone in 2015, refurbished in cherry leather, with the added bonus of cup holders and seat warmers.
Gwen Stefani joined as coach during Season 7. After learning she would be on the show, she binge-watched previous seasons.
Carson Daly has served as presenter on the American version since Season 1.
As for the coaches: Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have been on board since Season 1.
CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Usher have filled the other two coaching spots at different times. Season 9’s coaches are: Adam, Blake, Gwen and Pharrell.
Other big names sitting in the red chair across different versions of the show include will.i.am, Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, Boy George, Seal, and Ricky Martin.
Kylie Minogue and will.i.am have been coaches on the UK and Australian versions.
The show uses a crew of about 600 people making 12 set changes.
