Easy Freak are Dom Hurd and Jude Kenrick and their fusion of pop, electro, funk and soul is making waves and getting crowds moving.

They have already made their mark playing at some of South Africa’s biggest music festivals, including Zakifo, Durban Picnic Day, Oppikoppi and Music at the Lake, as well as Swaziland’s magical Bushfire Festival. They’ve shared stages with the likes of our coach Riky Rick, the legendary Damien Marley, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta, Mi Casa, Sketchy Bongo & The Wolfpack, Matthew Mole and many more.

Both musos studied Jazz and Popular Music at UKZN and draw inspiration from a host of genres, even going back to the funk of the 70’s. They self-released their debut album ‘I’m Alright’ in 2017 and tracks like ‘Cap2vated’ have featured on various charts, including the 5FM Top 30, Pop Top 10 and YFM Top 40.

They’ve also had videos playlisted on  Trace Urban, MTV Base and Channel O, and have reaped a lot of praise for the energetic live shows.

We look forward to what this young duo will bring to The Voice SA stage!
