What do a priest-in-training, a clinical psychologist, and a blue-collar technical genius have in common? No, they didn’t walk into a bar. 😉

They are the unlikely trio who come together to investigate alleged miracles or demonic possession on Evil. The second season sees the return of David Acosta (Mike Colter), priest-in-training; Dr Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), clinical psychologist; and Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi), the blue-collar technical genius.

The brilliance of the show is that while certain events are outright disproven, some cliffhangers leave you wondering if there are indeed unseen sinister supernatural beings at work undoing humanity. 👹

In comes Dr Leland Townsend (Michael Emerson), Kristen’s professional rival who has a strange but vested interest in David. It seems he also encourages ordinary people to engage in unspeakable acts. What’s more, he has also stolen the heart of Kristen’s mum Sheryl Luria (Christine Lahti). Is that genuine affection or just a ploy to get closer to Kristen?

Season 1 ended by questioning Kristen’s inherent goodness because a cross left a burnt mark on her hand. Da-da-dum! Is she evil? 😳

The stars of the show have taken to Twitter to share their take on the second season or providing everyone a glimpse to some behind-the-scenes.
