After six successful seasons, Mike and Molly is coming to an end. Luckily, fans of Melissa McCarthy will still be able to laugh with her on the big screen, most notably in the remake of Ghostbusters.
McCarthy got her big break in television with roles in Gilmore Girls and Samantha Who? However, it was her work in Mike and Molly, as one-half of the title, that really brought her to the attention of critics and fans.
Since the show's inception, the actress has won an Emmy for Oustanding Lead Actress in a Comedy. In between filming she found the time to become a movie star as well, chalking up an Oscar nomination in 2012, for her role in Bridesmaids.
