The world's biggest talent competition is back for its 18th season on M-Net DStv channel 101 on Friday 21 July at 17:00 ... and South African acts are shining more brightly than ever. Viewers will remember the superb Ndlovu Youth Choir that wowed audiences in season 14 of the show as well as in America's Got Talent: All-Stars.

This season another South African choir is competing – and they’re just as breathtaking! Called the Mzansi Youth Choir, this group of young singers hailing from Soweto brought judge Simon Cowell to tears with their audition. Without giving too much more away, judge Sofia Vergara dubbed it “the perfect AGT audition” and it led to a historic moment for the competition.

Other outstanding acts viewers won’t want to miss include 17-year-old Indonesian pianist and singer Putri Ariani, talented young drummers Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy, and French dance group Murmuration.

Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell are back as judges, with Terry Crews hosting.

Don't miss out on the excitement of America's Got Talent season 18 on M-Net (DStv channel 101) every Friday and Saturday at 17:00 from 21 July. Live-stream on the DStv App. The show is also available on DStv Catch Up after broadcast.
