A Catch-up with Zoë

29 January 2017
She was massively impressive in season 1 – Kahn labeled her Nirvana cover as the performance of the season – but what has Zoë Modiga been up to since?

In our very special season opener, Stacey Norman caught up with Zoë to find out what’s happened in her career since being on #TheVoiceSA.

“It was everything,” she said. “It was like going on a roller-coaster.” Zoë tried to “have fun” on her run and challenge herself – while avoiding shock value in favour of authenticity.

She admits that she’s gotten a lot of opportunities after the show, releasing music with an act called Seba Kaapstad. She also recently released the single “Love (Yahweh)”.

Being on the show has taken her reputation “a couple of notches up,” and she says that she can “only be honestly grateful” about her time on the show.
