The characters are energetic, unique, and super funny. The cast includes the likes of Ashley Nicole Black, Gabrielle Dennis, Skye Townsend, and Laci Mosley and often includes major celebrity guest stars.
Robin Thede is proud to host another season of this comedy sketch show that has strong black female dialogue. The show addresses many issues black women face in society and how they're seen in the world through the use of clever dialogue and witty humour. Robin said in an interview that in season 2 they did away with wearing masks in the scenes because they wanted people to laugh and not be consistently reminded of the pandemic. Of course, proper Covid protocols were still followed to ensure everyone's safety.
This season Thede promises more dynamic sketches and more improv sketches. The show will also touch on more pivotal topics and there are some awesome guest stars in the line-up.
