Five things to look forward to – Survivor SA

News
24 June 2022
The new season of Survivor SA is around the corner – here is what to look forward to.
Survivor SA S9

It is almost time for the ninth season of Survivor SA and we are already waiting on the edge of our seats for all the action. This season sees castaways from previous seasons return for another shot at claiming the title of the sole Survivor.

Here are our top five things to look forward to:

The Sunshine Coast
The castaways will compete on the breathtaking Eastern Cape's Sunshine Coast this year. This stunning stretch of beach and forest is known for being one of the sunniest regions in the country, and with its lush greenery and lagoons, our castaways will face some of the toughest challenges to date.

Returning outcasts
Survivor SA: Return of the Outcasts is bringing back two sets of previous castaways for another chance to snag the big prize. The two tribes consist of pre-merge and post-merge boots, and you will surely see some of your favourites from seasons four to eight make an appearance.

Nico is back for more
We all know that when Nico Panagio appears on your screen, it is time for more Survivor SA. After a short visit to Legacy, our host is back and ready to welcome the returning outcasts back.

Binge-worthy action
In the past, we had to wait a whole week to see what the castaways were up to, but this season M-Net is giving the ultimate Survivor SA fans something really exciting! You will be able to watch not one, but four episodes every single week from Monday to Thursday!

Twice the rewards
Because the castaways return for a second time, the stakes are twice as high. From the ultimate prize to the individual rewards – you are sure to see even bigger prizes and rewards for even tougher challenges.

Survivor SA: Return of the Outcasts premieres on M-Net on Monday 18 July, with four episodes per week, Mondays to Thursdays. Join the conversation on the Survivor Facebook Page or on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #SurvivorSA.
