Here's why we love Kristen Bell.

Kristen Bell’s star rose when she landed the title role in the detective series Veronica Mars. We’re very happy to announce that the show is returning and it’s coming to M-Net channel 101.

The show ran for three seasons, ending in 2007. In 2014, a film was released, and this year sees the premiere of its fourth season. It consists of eight episodes and takes us back to the original setting: the fictional California town, Neptune.

In addition to loving detective shows, and Veronica Mars, we just adore love Kristen Bell! Here’s why we think she’s awesome!

She’s forking hysterical
After making a name for herself on Veronica Mars, Bell became a comedy star, making us laugh in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couples Retreat, The Boss, and the Bad Moms movies. But it was in The Good Place that her star really shined! Cast as the incorrigible Eleanor Shellstrop, Bell embraced the humour, the shrimp, the flaws, the ridiculousness, and the ultimate warmth that made the character so likable and relatable.

Watch The Good Place season 3 finale on Friday 4 October at 22:00 on M-Net or check it out on DStv Catch Up.

She wants to build a snowman
Her star rose even more after being cast as the voice (both singing and speaking) of Anna in Frozen. She brought bubble and bounce to the spirited character, melting hearts with her warmth and charm. Anna has since popped up in several shorts, video games, and Ralph Breaks the Internet, all voiced by Bell. This year, she’ll reprise the role again, for Frozen II.

She blesses the rains down in Africa
Bell and her husband Dax Shepard went on holiday to Tanzania…and were met with a deluge of rain. Instead of letting it sink their spirits, they blessed the rains down in Africa and compiled a video of their soaking holiday, set to the famous song Africa

She’s #relationshipgoals
The couple’s fun, free-spirited attitude to life is just one of the many reasons we love them, and why they’re #relationshipgoals. Open about their relationship, they share ups and downs, highs and lows, encouraging an open-minded and understanding approach when keeping a relationship on track. And not ones to follow convention, the pair waited until same-sex marriage was ruled legal in California, whereupon Bell proposed to Shepard on Twitter.

She’s Veronica Mars
From Miss Marple to Nancy Drew, there’s a long history of female detectives in literature and television. As Mars, Bell is amongst its best proponents, solving murder and mystery – all while completing high school and starting college – proving that, like Bell, women really can do it all.

Watch Kristen Bell return to her famous role in Veronica Mars, Saturdays at 21:00, starting 12 October, on M-Net channel 101.
