1) As the only two actors reprising their roles for this instalment, Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman are also the only two to appear in all three Fallen movies
2) We can assume the movie takes place about three years after the events of London Has Fallen (2016) due to the fact that Banning’s daughter is not quite three years older.
3) Gerard Butler has compared Angel Has Fallen to Logan (2017) in that it is far darker and more character-driven than either Olympus Has Fallen (2013) or London Has Fallen (2016). He reportedly also hopes that it will be the final instalment in the franchise.
4) Morgan Freeman has portrayed the Speaker of the House in Olympus Has Fallen, the Vice President in London Has Fallen and, now, the President of the United States in Angel Has Fallen. This marks the second time Freeman has portrayed a U.S. president after playing President Tom Beck in Deep Impact. He also took on the role of South African president, Nelson Mandela, in Invictus (2009).
5) Despite being the third instalment in the franchise, Angel Has Fallen is actually the first time Morgan Freeman and Gerard Butler have shot a scene together. In Olympus Has Fallen, the pair never physically shared a scene while the scene they share in London Has Fallen was filmed separately with body doubles and edited together.
