The run-up to the Oscars® is jam-packed with award shows. One of these is the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Usually referred to as the SAG Awards, its focus is just on acting in film and television. Winners are selected by a committee from the guild: one for film, and one for television.

Adorning the winning actors’ mantelpieces, nightstands – or wherever they choose to display their statuettes – is a 41cm nude male figuring grasping two masks.

Movie and TV enthusiasts can tune into the live broadcast of the ceremony on M-Net Movies Premiere at 03:00 on 31 January. A delayed broadcast will air later that day on M-Net, with a repeat on 7 February at 00:00 on M-Net Movies Stars.
