CIA operative Emerson Kent (John Cusack) kills a spy who wanted to retire, but knew too much. This leads to the death of an innocent witness and his daughter. Haunted by the bloodshed, Kent is transferred to a numbers station and when it comes under attack, his moral fibre is tested.
