Hercules, son of the god Zeus, falls in love with a beautiful princess, but their love is doomed: she must marry the treacherous Iphicles. They decide to run away together and an entire army sets off after them. A mere mortal could never have survived the ordeal, but Hercules stands his ground, determined to fulfil his destiny.
