Watch Written in Blood on CBS Reality, DStv Channel 132, as Simon Toyne, bestselling author of Solomon Creed and the Sanctus Trilogy and fellow authors discuss how real life crimes have inspired their works of fiction.

Watch Written in Blood, on CBS Reality (DStv Channel 132), from Monday 11 December to 22 December at 21:10.

There will also double-billed repeats on weekends from 17 December at 22:00. 

Each episode explores a different criminal case, including interviews with people closest to the crimes, lead detectives and forensic experts.

British thriller fiction writer, Simon Toyne, bestselling author of the Sanctus Trilogy and Solomon Creed series, discusses with fellow top crime authors how the most notorious real life crimes in the UK have inspired their works of fiction.  

International bestseller Sanctus, the UK’s biggest selling debut thriller of 2011, was written by Simon after he quit his TV executive job to focus on his writing. His books have been published in over 50 countries and translated into 27 languages. The Solomon Creed series, called The Searcher in the USA, was based on a character called Solomon Creed, on a mysterious and perpetual search for redemption.
