If you’re a little confused as to where the characters left off – this will refresh you!
With the all new Game of Thrones fast approaching, we’re so excited, we have our fake swords and armour ready!
Westeros and Essos are in for a storm of adventure, action, betrayal and surprise when season five of Game of Thrones airs simulcast on Monday 13 April at 03:00 on M-Net Edge and at primetime on Thursday 16 April at 21:00. You never have to worry about missing out because GoT is also available on Catch Up.
Ok so if you’re maybe a little confused as to where the characters left off, how they got there and plain “WHATJUSTHAPPENED” – I’ll refresh you! You can go into Season 5 knowing where your favourite is, and start the journey with them.
She hasn’t moved recently – she’s still chilling in Meereen trying to come to terms with slaves that love the subordinate life (#FiftyShadesOfGrey) and her dragons that pretty much braaied a little girl. So she locked up her fire-breathing babies for now and stands mentorless since she banished Ser Jorah.
Ok so wow, he proved that dynamite comes in small packages when he killed both Shae and his father after Jamie broke him out of prison. In a fit of rage he disappeared and he’s trying to put some distance between himself and King’s Landing.
We last saw this ice queen in a compromising situation with brother / lover Jamie in King’s Landing – the relationship is back on. However, they have yet to find their father dead, on the royal loo.
Mr.KnowsNothing went beyond the wall to finally end the feud with the wildlings but instead found himself there at the same time as Stannis...
This Casanova kissed Gilly and has survived the attack on the wall, which is where he is at the moment.
Sleek and cunning Margaery is onto her Plan C: Tommen. She’s already semi-seduced him and she plans on being the queen no matter what, so she’s also keeping her ambition to King’s Landing.
Theon has been renamed (and partly reborn) as Reek. He’s still being tortured by Ramsey Bolton and is roaming around close to Winterfell.
Feisty Arya and the Mountain finally reached The Eyrie so that the Mountain could get his reward for Ayra from her aunt, however – she is dead and they carried on their journey. Then Brienne found them and battled the Mountain to defeat Arya, left the Mountain to die from his injuries and eventually used the coin from Jaqen H'ghar to set sail to Braavos. Whew!
Once super timid, Sansa seems to have realised that she needs to be a tough cookie to survive. She’s chilling with Petyr Baelish AKA Littlefinger at The Eyrie after he murdered her aunt in her defense.
Ok now this is a little tricky to explain. Bran finally reached his vision of the magic Weirwood tree in the North which holds the titular children and a wise and cryptic talking tree. He is starting to learn the lengths of his future journey – but yeah, he’s still in the tree in the North, somewhere. He has Hodor and Meera Reed by his side.
Creepy red woman Lady Melisandre convinced Stannis to go to The Wall, where he sets off to, and along the way comes across the wildlings and Jon Snow, so he’s there.
Don't miss Season 5 of Game of Thrones! Monday 13 April at 03:00 on M-Net Edge and at primetime on Thursday 16 April at 21:00.
GoT is also available on Catch Up.
