For the month of January TLC Entertainment will bring you inspiring, brand new series to kick start 2016 with a bang.
Catch the season premiere of An Hour to Save Your Life from Monday, 4 January at 21:50. This series explores the life or death decisions facing emergency care specialists in the first critical hour of emergency care. With specialist fixed-rig cameras and full access to the specialists both at the scene and in the hospital, this observational series gives a unique insight into the dilemmas and innovations of emergency care.
TLC Inspires, is a series which follows Nick Vujicic, In Born Without Limbs, who was born without arms or legs. A proud husband, father and motivational speaker, Nick has done more than most. Then, A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story follows the inspiring journey of 26-year-old, 58-pound Lizzie, from cyber-bullying victim to anti-bullying activist. Moving on into February, First Heartbeat is an intimate self-shot documentary by husband and wife; David and Lisa, which follows their struggles to have a baby. Finally, The Surgery Ship explores how, out on the ocean, a ship of doctors and nurses are travelling to aid the poorest of the poor living in West Africa. Also in January is the fifth season of Botched Up Bodies, the series follows some of Britain's top plastic surgeons who correct cosmetic surgery disasters. With exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the renowned plastic surgery unit at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the surgeons correct catastrophes and give the victims the chests, faces, teeth and tums that they have always wanted. In this fifth series, Kristina is left with droopy, sagging skin after successfully battling the bulge. Meanwhile, Vishal was left without a nose after going under the knife 22 times because he thought it was too big. Botched up Bodies premiering from Friday, 29 January at 20:55.
