Endurance meets humour in Vuzu Amp’s New Reality Game Show Down for The Guap

Just how far are people willing to go to win a cash price of R10 000? Vuzu AMP’s new reality adventure game show, Down for the Guap demonstrates the length friends are prepared to go to test their endurance and friendship for a piece of the prize.

The 8-part reality competition reality game show with stand-alone episodes is set to debut on Thursday 11 June at 19:00 CAT on DStv channel 114, hosted by the dynamic, hilarious duo Larry and TJ from the dance group The Repertoires and stars of the reality show Running with the Reps. What better way to test a friendship, than to convince besties to compete in outrageous and comical challenges for cash?

As with most game shows, Down for the Guap has a twist. Contestants will be challenged through a series of conventional and unusual games designed to entertain viewers as well as testing how friends collaborate in challenging yet amusing situations.

In each episode, a victim is lured by a friend, into a challenge to win the R10 000 cash price. The nominated friend is then compensated for merely accepting the challenge. More money is then offered to tackle a challenge by themselves to win a further R3 000.

Having bagged R5 000, the contestant is given the opportunity to double the money by teaming up with their friend to compete in the ultimate challenge against the two hosts.

Tune into Vuzu AMP, DStv Channel 114 to catch Down for the Guap on Thursday 11 June at 19:00 for gut-wrenching laughter.
