Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will debut on 29 September.

South African comedian Trevor Noah will take over the host duties from Jon Stewart at The Daily Show from Monday, 28 September.

This was revealed by Comedy Central (DStv channel 122) on Thursday, 28 May. Until his new gig starts, Trevor's been getting comfortable in Jon's chair.

The inaugural show fronted by Trevor will debut in the USA on 28 September before airing at 21:00 CAT on Tuesday, 29 September on Comedy Central, less than 24 hours after the US debut. The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will air Monday to Fridays across Africa on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122).
