The highly anticipated second half of season 8 will return on FOX starting 26 February
FOX, the exclusive international home of The Walking Dead and global leader in delivering the best scripted entertainment to international audiences first, today announced the return of the series to FOX channels internationally following AMC’s Season 9 renewal. Season 9 to premiere late 2018.

The Walking Dead, which remains the number one show on television for a fifth consecutive season, is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, Dave Alpert and Tom Luse. FOX partnered with AMC on the series at script level and launched the first ever global simultaneous release in 2010. Now in its 8th season, The Walking Dead will return to over 200 million international viewers in over 125 countries on FOX with its February 26 midseason premiere within hours of broadcast on AMC in the U.S.
Internationally, The Walking Dead airs 125+ FOX channel markets within 24 hours of the U.S. premiere, as part of Fox Networks Group’s continued commitment to broadcast the series near day-and-date globally.
