We look players who will play key pivotal roles on the third day.
The skipper is looking in good at the crease, his first target will be to get to his century and continue to pile on the runs.
Currently, on seven runs, Shaun Marsh has to dig in with his captain on the third day.
Australian bowler Pat Cummings has scored 97 runs in the series thus far in three innings. Considering that he bats in the lower order he has been quite impressive. With support from the remaining batsman, he will be destructive.
James Anderson and Chris Broad
Along with Chris Broad, James Anderson leads the English bowling attack. Anderson and Broad have yet to take wickets in this Test. Mitchell Starc four-wicket haul in England’s first innings should encourage the duo.
The off-spinner is an integral part of the English team. Moeen Ali’s eleven overs have gone for 28 runs without a wicket. He will need to be at his best in a pitch that will slowly start to show some cracks on the third day.
