TCM reinvents itself to become a more modern and entertaining cinema channel.

Turner Broadcasting is on the case and investing in its brand with powerful new films and a fresh new look and feel.

With its upgraded colourful look and a strong focus on contemporary productions, movie lovers all over Africa will be hanging to the edge of their seats as they enjoy daily fast-paced and modern programming.

The new TCM (DStv Channel 137) aims to be the go-to channel for entertaining American cinema: a major change in the channel´s tone, brand image and programming strategy will bring the TCM experience to a whole new level of quality entertainment.

Blockbuster fans will benefit from a host of original titles stemming right from the most prestigious Hollywood studios. Prime time and weekend specials have been rejuvenated to include explosive action-blocks, chilling thriller specials and frontier-pushing sci-fi events. 

The new programming will also include romcoms, dramas and exclusive in-house produced documentaries: a series of programs that will only be seen on TCM.
