It’s the MultiChoice Diski Challenge derby as the golden boys face Pirates

The battle lines will be drawn when arch-foes Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates slug it out in what should be the highpoint of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) derby weekend on Sunday 12 November live on your Channel of Champions
The stands at the King Zwelithini Stadium in the Kwazulu-Natal football hub of Umlazi just outside Durban should be swollen to capacity on Sunday afternoon when Soweto arch enemies Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates lock horns in an MDC showdown (Kick-off 14:00).
Tune in for live MultiChoice Diski Challenge football action when bitter Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs face off at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi on Sunday 12 November from 13:55 on SS4 HD (DStv Channel 204 streaming live on DStv Now) and SS10 (Channel 210). Highlights on DStv Catch Up later.
Both clubs enjoy a broad national support base and the fan rivalry extends way beyond the respective clubs’ top flight outfits.
The match in the country’s popular PSL Reserve League forms part of a smashing derby triple header on the day which also features the provincial shootouts between Bloemfontein Celtic and Free State Stars (12:00) and Limpopo adversaries Polokwane City and Baroka FC (10:00).
It will round off a busy weekend featuring no less than six derbies spread over two days which includes Saturday’s ‘iKapa’ derby between Cape Town City and Ajax CT (10:00), the Tshwane battle between defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United (12:00) as well as the KZN match-up between Golden Arrows and AmaZulu (14:00).
Things are not looking too rosy for coach Arthur Zwane and his Amakhosi reserves and they are languishing down in 15th place in the 16-team league as the halfway point in the season dawns, with just three points in the bank from six outings.
Chiefs are still reeling from a 5-1 drubbing by Bloemfontein Celtic in their last outing and desperately seeking answers to their slump.
The Buccaneers second stringers, by contrast, are well-placed on 12 points, just two points shy of log leaders Maritzburg United and one adrift of Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows.
