Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures

Set between events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, this Lego series focuses on a crew of smugglers who become embroiled in the battle between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance and embark on a quest for a powerful artefact. Featuring recognizable characters from the movies including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, the series eventually intersects with the original trilogy during the climactic Battle of Endor.


Star Wars Forces of Destiny

A series of animated short films that will air as a half-hour special on Disney Channel, DStv channel 303, Forces of Destiny focuses on the female characters of the Star Wars universe, including Rogue One’s Jyn and The Force Awakens’ Rey.

Star Wars Rebels

Set in the period between the Revenge of the Sith and  A New Hope, this CGI animated series focuses on the formation of the Rebel Alliance that would go on to battle the Empire in the original Star Wars trilogy.

In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman. J.J. Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin are the executive producers. Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in S.A. theatres on December 15, 2017.
