Renowned astronaut Paolo Nespoli speaks at the Eutelsat Star Awards.

It is not everyday that you run into an Astronaut. We did just that at this years' DStv Eutelsat Star Awards ceremony held in Nairobi, Kenya, that also celebrated rising student interest in science and technology.

The fifth edition of the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards, organised by MultiChoice and Eutelsat, reached a record participation with nearly 2 000 entries from 18 countries.

ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Paolo Nespoli chaired the jury of the awards for the third year in a row and was our specil guest. We had a golden opportunity to engage Nespoli who was all about the rocket science vibe. He has already visited space twice and was preparing for his third trip. Here is what he had to say.

After getting technical with us, we now went into personal development and specifically talking about careers. Paolo did not mince his words and spoke on dreamIing of the impossible dreams, dreams that scare you and eventually working on making those dreams come true! His last words were powerful, "You hold the key to your future". Here  are a few life lessons from Paolo.
