Running a restaurant is no picnic, and the slightest slip-up can spell disaster. Luckily, Willie Degel is on the case, assisting his fellow restaurateurs with their struggling businesses.

Mi Casa’s J’Something is not only a talented musician and dancer but he also has a restaurant called Something’s Cooking by J’Something based in Pretoria. According to the website, the restaurant is a “twist to traditional dishes in a space which celebrates the life and times of J’Something’s upbringing.” They also say that the recipes are created “with a special personal story from his life.” J’Something also had a show called Something’s Cooking which aired on Mzansi Magic. You can still watch it Sundays at 14:00 and on DStv Now. On top of that his culinary skills were put to the test when he was a judge on My Kitchen Rules. He also has a cook book called Something's Cooking.
Heartthrob Channing Tatum has a restaurant called Saints and Sinners designed for having a good time. It’s situated in New Orleans in the Burlesque region. Watch him in 10 Years on DStv Now.
Mel B aka Scary Spice is also part-owner at the Serafina Sunset restaurant. The restuarant was first opened over 20 years ago by Assaf and Granato in New York but has spread in other major cities worldwide. The restaurant has an Italian influenced menu with offerings like seafood, pizza and grilled dishes. Celebs like Kim Kardashian, Christina Milian and Justin Bieber have been spotted at the restaurant.

Jay Z who is rumoured to open another restaurant called Hovino after his company S Carter Enterprises secured the trademark for it. He’s not new to the business as he owns the 40/40 Club which is a sports bar and lounge based in New York.
