Not only is Black Panther making waves but it's become the fifth highest opening weekend of all time.
Black Panther premiered on Friday 16 February in South Africa.
The Walt Disney Company Africa brought down some of the Black Panther cast; Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, John Kani and Connie Chuime.

See the interviews here. According to Disney it brought in over R16.8 million for the opening weekend and makes it the third biggest industry opening weekend in South Africa.
South African's went out in their numbers and in true South African style some movie-goers had a celebration after watching the film by singing:
