Puppy power hits Sandton City this week as Nick Jr.’s doggy-themed festive extravaganza gets under way from Friday 4 December to Thursday 24 December.

This year’s fun-filled celebration, Sandton City Presents Nick Jr.’s Paw Patrol, is based for the first time around action-packed, pre-school adventure series Paw Patrol, Nick Jr.’s CGI animated programme about the exciting lives of a pack of heroic puppies led by a tech savvy 10-year old boy called Ryder.

A unique blend of problem solving skills, cool vehicles and physical humour, the Paw Patrol pups work together on rescue missions to protect the Adventure Bay community where they live. From Marshall the firedog to Chase the police pup and Skye who flies high in her copter, each pup brings a unique personality and skills to the team, demonstrating the importance of teamwork and good citizenship.

Bring your little ones to the Fountain Court, Sandton City, from Friday 4 December to Thursday 24 December to learn about staying safe with the Paw Patrol team, and join in some fun sing-a-longs with Marshall (an excitable six-year-old Dalmatian pup who’s the team’s fire dog) and Chase (an athletic seven-year-old German Shepherd police dog who’s definitely leader of the pack). Plus there’s meet and greets with the characters and other fun activities such as building block pits and craft stations.

Paw Patrol interactive sing-a-long shows are at 10:00, 13:00, 16:00 and 18:00 daily, with meet and greets at 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00.

Commented Head of Nickelodeon, Tasania Parsadh: “We are very excited to bring Marshall and Chase from Nick Jr.’s Paw Patrol to Sandton City for the first time; these lovable pups will make kids laugh out loud and also teach kids and their parents about the importance of safety.”

For more rescue fun with the Paw Patrol, tune into Nick Jr. (307) every day at 14:10.
