"I know what incarceration does to a man. I have friends and family who have been incarcerated. They click and they start to believe whatever it is that they believe as the real thing that happened to them. He wasn't that. He was this flamboyant, charismatic, movie star, marquee-athlete. I needed that arrogance. That was where my focus was."
The chaotic, behind-the-scenes dealings inside the OJ Simpson trial offers viewers a riveting look at the legal teams battling to convict or acquit the football legend of double homicide.
Author Toobin said: "This story is one of the great American stories. This is a story of race, sex, violence, sports, and the only witness is a dog."
