This week on My Kitchen Rules South Africa we'll see celebrity judges J'Something and David Higgs bid farewell to one of the five pairs of home cook contestants. Eliminations are looming which will see the pair with the least points on the leaderboard sent home.
Food dudes from Krugersdorp, Rein and Rowan find themselves in the hot seats as they've consistently maintained the lowest score of 63 out of 100 points. On Sunday 10 September at 17:00 on M-Net (101) (stream on DStv Now or watch later on Catch Up) we'll see book club besties Kelly and Claire from Kylami fight to stay in the competition. The two will need to aim above 64 out of 100 to stay in the competition. Time will tell if they can aim high or shoot and fall into hot water.
Kelly and Claire have been vocal up to this point. We know Kelly loves meat and the two are big wine fanatics, but how will they fair come Sunday? “We’ve just got to stay focused and stick to our game plan,” a calm Claire announced, but we don't suspect their Instant Restaurant to go operate smoothly with Claire adding that the two friends can get feisty, “we tend to argue in the kitchen, which is unusual because outside of the kitchen we never argue.”
The two may have a fiery attitude that could cause a positive spark or keep it a bit too hot in the kitchen, either way, we'll soon find out if they can handle the heat to pull out a win for the night. We bet Rein and Rowan will have their eyes peeled for any slip ups or mistakes, after all who wants to be the pair going home?
After the eliminations take place, a new group of five pairs of contestants will invite MKRSA fans into their homes to showcase their culinary skills. Get yourself ready for even more incredibly talented home cooks who will leave us all drooling over their menus - we can't wait!
