Tell Me Sweet Something, opening in cinemas on Friday 4 September, stays true to the notion that opposites attract.

The movie follows Moratiwa (Nomzamo Mbatha), an aspiring novelist who runs a second-hand bookstore, and Nat Masilo (Maps Maponyane), a model who doesn’t read books, as they form an unlikely relationship.

Nat isn’t really Moratiwa’s type but they end up meeting in a nightclub and sparking a conversation. You will have to watch it to find out what happens next in this charming, funny and sweet movie that has amazing shots of the city of Johannesburg. It also boasts a great cast featuring Thishiwe Ziqubu, Thembi Seete, Thomas Gumede and Kagiso Lediga among others.
