Zee World on DStv Channel 166, which was the world’s first ever English dubbed Bollywood channel, showcases series and movies. It is fitting, therefore that the Zee World 365 on air, print, digital and radio campaigns kicked off on its birthday on 3rd February. The on-air campaign is underpinned by the screening of five key series shown daily in the same time slot seven days a week.  These include: My Lost Home screened daily at 18:00, Love Happens at 19:00, Fire and Ice which premieres on 18 February at 19:00, and Modern Homemaker at 20:00 daily. The return of the ever-popular Sacred Ties on 25 February, will feature in the 20:00 prime time slot.

The advertising campaign will target previously untapped areas, as the appetite for Zee World and more specifically Bollywood content continues to grow by a considerable margin in these areas. The dramatic and sometimes romantic storylines, songs, colour, action packed content and cultural nuances in the shows have resonated highly with South Africans.

Harish Goyal, CEO of Zee TV Africa and Indian Ocean Islands said, “In keeping with our brand ethos “Extraordinary Everyday” the vision to provide fresh content 7 days a week is constantly and consistently being realised and it is ultimately the viewer that benefits from this strategy.”
