Doctor Blake wraps up its fifth season on ITV CHOICE with a telemovie titled ‘Family Portrait’, which will premiere on the channel (DStv Channel 123), and streaming live on DStv Now on Tuesday, January 30 at 20:00.

Craig McLachlan stars as Doctor Blake and Nadine Garner stars as his fiancée Jean. Just weeks ahead of their own wedding, they are invited to the wedding of the season, but it turns out to be an ugly evening, and they leave. When a prominent member of the bridal party if found dead the next morning, Blake is forbidden from working the case and must investigate a missing person case instead.

As his investigation gets underway, he realizes that the cases are connected and more complicated than was at first thought. Doctor Blake realizes that the key to solving the puzzle of three murders, two weddings and and funeral may lie in his past and be connected to his relationship with his father.
