The pressure is on Mindanao to avoid another Tribal Council. Watch the drama unfold on Thursday 19 May on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) and online on DStv Now.
When Luzon finally snapped their challenge losing streak and Mindanao intentionally found themselves a tribe member lighter after Stacey-Lee departed last week, the castaways thought the game was wide open. But just when alliance lines were being solidified and a pecking order was emerging, host Nico Panagio uttered the phrase: ‘Drop Your Buffs’ – throwing the castaways into turmoil.
The new dawn – thanks to a first in Survivor South Africa history - will test friendships, stretch alliances to breaking point and offer some castaways a way back into the game, while others will have to scramble to re-establish themselves.
Will Mindanao embrace or expel a livid Marthunis after his alliance publicly dropped him at Tribal Council last week? Will the inspired Luzon find a new gear and even the tribal numbers themselves?
