These chefs were famous before their food was.
Foodies have a way about them. From the way they kiss their fingers to their mouths when talking about ingredients to the way they say "just a smidge" while adding a bucket load of olive oil, we love them just the way they are.
But some fabulous foodies were already in our hearts before they started entertaining our tummies.

You may recognise her as award-winning actress from The Middle (weekdays at 18:25 on Comedy Central) or Everybody Loves Raymond. However, she's busy showcasing her party-throwing, guest-feeding culinary skills and we are impressed Patricia! Tune in to see how Patricia parties in Patricia Heaton's Parties S2 on Food Network (175) from Thursday 16 February at 20:00.
When Mr lead singer of MiCasa isn't jaming on stage for his beloved fans, he's in the kitchen doing a little cooking boogie. You'll remember watching his show Something's Cooking, last year on Mzansi Magic (161).
He's got mad vocal and acting skills in his role as Jamal on FOX's Empire but did you know he also has mad cooking skills?
He does. So much so infact that Jessie and his siblings have a show called Smollett Eats on Food Network where they take on their everyday meals and turn them into tasty gourmet foods.
Some of the meals include BBQ chicken wings with pineapple-ginger teriyaki sauce, creole crawfish and shrimp boil and apricot and mustard glazed baby back ribs amongst many others. Keep your eye on out the series calendar to see when it will be coming onto DStv.
Rev Run, one of the founding members of Run-D.M.C and star of the reality show Run’s House, is also a connoisseur in the kitchen.
Family is a huge part of Rev Run’s life and in the show Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers, he manages to get the family together as he and his wife, Justine, cook up a storm to share with their family. Watch out for when it comes on DStv.
If you are a fan of cooking shows, be sure to catch titles like Knife Fight, Laat die Potte Prut, Kom Ons Braai and MasterChef Junior on DStv Now - which allows you to stream live TV or Catch Up with your favourite shows online or on your mobile device with the DStv Now App (for iOS and Android).
