Furious 7 remains the most popular film at the US movie ticket sales.
Fast and Furious 7, the car-racing franchise, earned just over $29 million in theatres since Friday according to Box Office Mojo. This sum brings its domestic gross profit total to $294 million and its international earnings to $1.15 billion since its 3 April premiere. These sums are a franchise best, as Furious 7 has earned more than any other movie in the series.
With its $1.15 billion worldwide sales, Furious 7 is now listed as the seventh highest-grossing movie of all time, Variety reports. Furious 7 boasts an all-star lineup of actors including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Elsa Pataky, Kurt Russell and Luke Evans. This picture is the final feature film late actor Paul Walker stars in. Paul died in November 2013 after a car accident.

The movie, which is being distributed by Columbia Pictures, was produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions for $30 million.
Unfriended, another box office premiere, came in third place this week with gross sales of just over $16 million.
