It's the second season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and here's why you have to watch it.
So you enjoy Real Housewives, love hip-hop and also have a thing for drama and romance? Get them all wrapped up in one show with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta on Sundays at 21:00 on MTV Base.
This series follows the lives of the elite women and men of Atlanta who are all connected in one way or another.
Who’s in it?
There are various interesting characters in the show to make it worth watching because... well... they are easy on the eye. Then of course there are those who also have heaps of talent in their bag of tricks - like musicians, Lil Scrappy, Yung Joc and Nikko London.
You will also get to see music producers like Raymond Scott, popularly known as Benzino, who was also the co-owner of the popular cultural, political and hip-hop music magazine The Source.
Then there is producer/song writer/musician Stevie J who has been the main source of conflict between his ex-girlfriend, Mimi, and his current wife (then side chick), Joseline Hernandez.
The cast also features hot girls to match up to the guys with the likes of TV personality and rapper Rasheeda, radio personality Traci Steele and songstress K Michelle making unforgettable appearances.
Where’s the drama at?
We've already set you up to expect drama courtesy of Stevie J. Mimi and Joseline fought over Stevie and even though she now has Stevie “to herself”, Joseline still finds herself mixed up in controversy. One of her run-ins has been with Karlie Redd because of Joseline's interference in her relationship with Benzino.
Erica Dixon and Lil Scrappy are another couple to look out for because they have their own drama. The main cause of tension is the fact that his mother doesn’t like Erica and, as a result, is always causing trouble between the two. It doesn't help the relationship that Scrappy sometimes wanders off to other people's beds. Whew! You need to see this for yourself. It’s intense and will keep your eyeballs glued to the screen.
Romance and babies
There’s new love on the scene. Mimi has moved on and is now dating Nikko. Rasheeda and Kirk are expecting a baby and the pregnancy is causing some tension.
Now that you have an idea of what to expect, watch Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Sundays at 21:00 on MTV Base.
